Excited by the process of Rixy and her team creating The Midnight Ride, I’m now delighted to study the whole as well as selected parts no longer hidden by fencing and equipment.

Take time to appreciate the details of jewelry on horse and human.

Note how the artist incorporated the scene with doorways, indented surfaces, and other features of the building.

Follow the flow of folds in fabric and dark red braided yarn.

Compare the mural sky with the surrounding skyline. Wonder about ways the young woman and mysterious horse connect.

Imagine their stories and their missions. Admire their midnight blue curls.

What will we learn or fantasize about them before they are painted over in opaque white for the next mural in a year?
