Liberty images, statements, and costumes created by a group of artists for the Boston No Kings Rally in October came together for Fall of Freedom, November 22 in Arlington. Their sense of purpose was strong and promising! These photos, quotes, and links should confirm that.

“Arlington artist Adria Arch and an intrepid group of artist friends created large painted Statue of Liberty signs and slogans for the … No Kings rally on the Boston Common. Now they are bringing them to Arlington Center as part of a national action called Fall of Freedom (https://www.falloffreedom.com/).” ( quote from Cecily Miller’s email message about this event)

One symbolic statue can stand for many human responses and connect with more as well!

“This Fall, we are activating a nationwide wave of creative resistance. Beginning November 21–22, 2025, galleries, museums, libraries, comedy clubs, theaters, and concert halls across the country will host exhibitions, performances, and public events that channel the urgency of this moment. Fall of Freedom is an open invitation to artists, creators, and communities to take part—and to celebrate the experiences, cultures, and identities that shape the fabric of our nation.” ( quote from Fall of Freedom mission )

Feeling warm support in spite of damp, cold weather! Energized by taking part; grateful for the art!
