“TAPPED IN -Moving Hearts and Minds Through Art and Science” Part 3: Three More of Ten Creative Teams

This third post about “TAPPED IN” completes my plan to focus on artwork by all ten artist-scientist pairs in the exhibit. The pairs represented here are Mags Harries/ Nadia Szeinbaum, Victor Pacheco /Paul Kirshen, and Casey Figueroa /Terrius Harris.

“The exhibit aims to touch hearts and minds, fostering change through art that visualizes the impact and implications of the scientists’ work.” ( quote from TAPPED IN , Umbrella Arts Center)

Uplifting Updates, Thanks to Boston Women’s Heritage Trail and Boston Art Commission

At the end of my self-assigned project of posting about women artists on Public Art Walk, I began to wonder how I could better share the fascinating discoveries that came from it.  After listing the artists and my posts on a blog page last month, I wished for some ways to convey what I had learned beyond my own small base of friends, colleagues, and family.  Now two organizations are doing what I wished for.

Art Beneath Our Feet: Asaroton by Mags Harries

I chose to focus on Mags Harries now because her work is currently featured at the Boston Sculptors Gallery and also within an exhibit at the deCordova Museum through this summer. I’ll hope to have other opportunities to express my enthusiasm for what this inspiring artist has done and is still doing.
