Jaume Plensa’s Sculptures Make Many Meaningful Connections
Jaume Plensa’s Humming came to deCordova Sculpture Park almost ten years ago, generating innumerable reminders of how powerful sculpture can be. As a guide at the park, Humming has given me reliable ways to connect with others about how and why a tall translucent entrancing head might come to be. Humming has brought perspective to other art in the park, and it has led me to more sculpture by the same artist as well.

This week I enjoyed Walking Poetry in Arlington and Poetry on the Path in Somerville. Both added to my awareness of when, how, and where a poem can move people. Sensational, Subtle Fog x FLO Includes Five Temporary Installations along the Emerald Necklace
This post identifies what you need to find and/or find out about the five distinct but related fog sculptures now in Boston until October 31, 2018. My photos from visits to three of those sculptures remind me of how much can change from moment to moment and how far my images are from revealing the moving drama of the art.
